Every winter, perfect skiing conditions attract winter athletes from far and wide to the Venet Skiing Area in the TyrolWest region

The Venet Cable Car takes you from the centre of Zams up to the Krahberg (Crow Mountain), the pre-summit of Mt. Venet. The 2,512 m high Venet in the Oetztal Alps is the local mountain of Landeck and part of the Kaunergrat Nature Park. There's the Venet Skiing Area which offers a stunning view on the Arlberg, Mt. Zugspitze - the highest peak of Germany - and the Ortles Alps.
Wonderful powder slopes can be found on the north side of Mt. Venet, pleasant sunny slopes, however, on its south side. The 22 km of well-groomed slopes are largely of medium difficulty, whereas three T-bar lifts and the Venet Ski and Snowboard School offer professional help with the first swings. Furthermore, there are 2 km of ski routes and the Venet Süd toboggan run. The place for children is Tobi's Kids Park with the mascot Tobi, a crow, refering to the Crow Mountain.
Action is provided for snowboarders in the Panorama Lifestyle Park with a BigAirBag for a soft landing. Need a break? Just stop at one of the cosy ski huts in the Venet Skiing Area, e.g. the Zammer Alm, the Venet Gipfelhütte with its Rooftop Lounge or the Panorama Restaurant. Further winter highlights are a guided tour at the Star Gazing Park, paragliding and hang-gliding.
