The Venet skiing area in the Venet region Landeck-Zams-Fliess is also a popular destination for ski tours.
Every winter perfect skiing conditions attract winter athletes from far and wide to the skiing area Venet in the west of North Tyrol (TyrolWest). The Venet Bergbahnen lift facilities - the cable car is barrier-free accessible - take you into this skiing area. It offers not only a fabulous view on the Oetztal and Lechtal Alps as well as on Mt. Zugspitze, but also wonderful powder slopes on the south and north side of Mt. Venet. The Venet or Krahberg (Crow Mountain), a 2,512 m high massif in the Oetztal Alps, is the local mountain of Landeck and part of the Kaunergrat Nature Park.
The 22 km of well-groomed slopes are largely of medium difficulty and also suitable for beginners. Three T-bar lifts and the Venet Ski and Snowboard School offer professional help with the first swings on the slopes. For children, however, there is Tobi's Kids Park with the mascot Tobi, a crow.
Action is provided also for snowboarders in the new Panorama Lifestyle Funpark with a BigAirBag, a big air cushion for a soft landing. Need a break? Just stop at one of the cosy ski huts, e.g. the Zammer Alm, the Venet Gipfelhütte or the Panorama Restaurant, providing a great view on the surroundings. New, however, is the "Venet Bob", an all-year toboggan run on rails, which was inaugurated in 2019. The Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol), the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol) and the "Ski6" ski pass (350 km of slopes in 6 skiing areas around the Venet ski region) are valid in this skiing area.
