Silvapark, the skiing area in the climatic health resort of Galtür, offers fun and action for adults and children in 6 different sectors.
Galtür is the highest located skiing area in the Paznauntal valley, surrounded by a considerable number of 3,000 m high mountains in the Silvretta Alps. It is considered to be family-friendly and snow sure. For some years now the skiing area has been shining in new splendour: "Silvapark", that's the new formula, is made up of 6 different areas and offers great ski slopes, fancy Snow Parks for freestylers and freeskiers as well as well-groomed cross-country ski tracks.
In the "Zwergerlwelt" (Dwarf's World) the mascot SIGGI cares for your children in Siggi's Alpine Club where they can make their first experiences on snow (Sector 01). In the "Abenteuerland" (Adventure Land) children can ski in a fairytale world. The other areas are called "Actionpark" (for adults and adolescents), "Heldenbereich" (Heroes' Area - freerider), "Pistenparadies" (Slope Paradise - skiers and race snowboarders) and "High & Nordic" (for ski tours).
Among other things beginners will enjoy skiing on the ski slopes at the Birkhahnbahn lift facility and the short slope at the Soppa ski lift. For night owls, however, the slopes are open at nighttime on a regular basis. And afterwards it's high time to meet up in one of the Après Ski bars, e.g. in the "Weiberhimmel", the "Fluchthorn Alm" or the "Panoramatenne". The Silvapark bears the Tyrolean Ski Seal of Quality and was awarded several times for its quality and child friendliness. The Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol), the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol) and the Silvretta Ski Pass (Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See) are valid here.
