Silvapark, the skiing area in the climatic health resort of Galtür, offers fun and action in six different sectors.
Galtür, the highest located skiing area in the Paznauntal valley reaching up to 2,300 m a.s.l., is surrounded by a considerable number of 3,000 m high mountains in the Silvretta Alps. It is considered to be family-friendly and snow sure. For some years now, the skiing area has been shining in new splendour: The Silvapark - that's the new formula - is made up of 6 different areas.
In the "Zwergerlwelt" (Dwarf's World) the mascot SIGGI cares for your children in Siggi's Alpine Club where they can make their first experiences on snow (Sector 01). In the "Abenteuerland" (Adventure Land) children can ski in a fairytale world. The other areas are called "Actionpark" (for adults and adolescents), "Heldenbereich" (Heroes' Area - freerider), "Pistenparadies" (Slope Paradise - skiers and race snowboarders) and "High & Nordic" (for ski tours).
The snow is guaranteed here until late spring. Beginners will enjoy skiing on the ski slope at the Birkhahn Lift and on the short slope at the Soppa Lift. For night owls, however, the slopes are open at nighttime on a regular basis. The Silvapark Skiing Area bears the Tyrolean seal of quality for its ski slopes and was awarded several times for its quality and child friendliness.
