The family-friendly skiing area in the Lechtal valley is accessible from Bach by the Lechtaler Bergbahnen lift facilities.

On the sunny side of the Lechtal valley, the Lechtaler Bergbahnen lift facilities take you up at 1,800 m a.s.l. The ascent with the Jöchelspitze Chairlift alone is an adventure, as it overcomes a drop of 600 metres, making you experience a great view from the Lechtal Alps to the Allgäu Alps.
At the valley station of the Jöchelspitze Skiing Area there's the Jöchelspitze practice lift for children and beginners. If you seek a calm and small skiing area for some sunny days on the slopes, the skiing area on Mt. Jöchelspitze, a 2,226 m high peak of the Allgäu Alps, is the right place for you.
Besides the two lifts of the skiing area, the valley offers another one, the Gföllberglift Holzgau Lift: It starts from the centre of Holzgau, and takes kids and beginners to an easy slope and another one of medium difficulty. The ski ticket of the Jöchelspitze Skiing Area can be used also here.
