Kappl-Sunny Mountain skiing area - Paznauntal

The skiing area Kappl-Sunny Mountain is considered to be one of the greatest skiing areas of the Silvretta Alps.

No matter if you prefer skiing, fun carving or snowboarding in the skiing area of Kappl - you will be amazingly satisfied. The area features 35 km of well groomed ski slopes as well as 10 lift facilities. Moreover there are 7 km of ski routes. The modern Bergbahnen Kappl lift facilities take you into the skiing area with its great view on the surrounding mountains. Of course there are also cosy refuges spread all over the skiing area inviting you to take a rest.

Regarding the altitude of more than 2,600 m a.s.l. and the modern snowmaking equipment, it is needless to say that the Kappl-Sunny Mountain skiing area is snow sure. The longest ski run is the 8 km long and 50 m wide - ideal for carvers - Lattenabfahrt, featuring a 1,000 m drop. Freestyler, however, can look forward to the Albitt Fun Park with kicker, rails, rainsbows and tables.

Kappl is considered to be a really family-friendly skiing area, turning its attention to children. There is the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park with its ski kindergarten at 1,830 m a.s.l. On a rather plain terrain equipped with funny figures, archways, tunnels and with Flaxi, the mascot, children can learn skiing in a playful manner. At the Sunny Mountain Club Kappl close to the Diasbahn mountain station, however, a professional team provides supervision for children from the age of 3. The Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol), the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol) and the Freizeitticket Tyrol (32 skiing areas and other leisure time facilities in Tyrol) as well as the Silvretta Ski Pass (Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See) are valid in Kappl.
