The skiing area at the Höfener Alm mountain pasture, an area at 1,900 m a.s.l. on the slopes of Mt. Hahnenkamm in the Nature Park Region of Reutte, disposes of five lift facilities. The red cabins of the Hahnenkammbahn cable car, which carry 1,630 people per hour, start in Höfen and take you onto 16 km of slopes. Most of them are medium difficult runs. Kids can look forward to the Schollenwiesen Lift with its children's area which is available in the valley, suitable for first steps on skis. Also the "Alpeggle" area at the intermediate station is rather flat and suitable for beginners.
Professional help offer the certified instructors of the Hahnenkamm 2000 Ski School who show you the proper technique. To bring the skiing day to a close the traditional Aprés Ski has to be enjoyed. Therefor the "Ramba Zamba Express" at the valley station or the open-air bar "Almrausch" in front of the Singer Hütte ski hut look forward to welcoming you.
In the Hahnenkamm Reutte skiing area, awarded with the Tyrolean quality seal for its ski slopes, the Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol), the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol), the Allgäu Glacier Card (Allgäu and Tyrol with the Kaunertal and Pitztal Glaciers) and the Super Snow Card (8 skiing areas in Tyrol, the Allgäu and the Kleinwalsertal valley) as well as the Allgäu Tyrol Ski Card (19 skiing areas in Tyrol and the Allgäu) are valid.
