The Füssener Jöchle skiing area with its 9 km of slopes is located near Grän in the Tannheimer Valley.
The 8-seater cable car Füssener Jöchle, one of the five lift factilies of the Sonnenbergbahnen Grän, starts at the edge of the village of Grän and takes you to 1,823 m a.s.l. In the valley the Märchenwiesen (Fairytale Meadows) Lift gives the small ones the possibility to make first steps on skis. The Grän lift operating company was founded already in 1967, in the same year the first ski tow was opened. In 1970/71 the chairlift was inaugurated - at that time Europe's longest double-seat chairlift without intermediate station (2,630 m a.s.l.).
In good weather conditions the fantastic view from the mountain peak reaches until Neuschwanstein Castle in Southern Bavaria. The Füssener Jöchle skiing area offers 9 km of easy and medium slopes - due to snow cannons in the whole skiing area, fun on the slopes is guaranteed until spring. And of course also Après Ski has to be enjoyed when skiing in Tyrol! The mountain huts in the skiing area, such as the Sonnenalm refuge at the mountain station and the "s'Um und Auf" at the valley station, welcome you.
Mt. Füssener Jöchle is one of the five skiing areas of the Tannheimer Valley - the Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol), the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol), the Allgäu Glacier Card (Allgäu and Tyrol with the Kaunertal and Pitztal Glaciers), the Allgäu Tyrol Ski Card (19 skiing areas in Tyrol and the Allgäu) and the Super Snow Card (8 skiing areas in Tyrol, the Allgäu and the Kleinwalsertal valley) are valid here.
