Olympic Region Seefeld skiing area

The Olympic Region Seefeld with its 44 km of slopes includes the five skiing areas of the Seefeld Plateau.

Rosshütte, Leutasch, Gschwandtkopf, Birkenlift & Geigenbühel and Neuleutasch form one large skiing area: the Olympic Region Seefeld. Seefeld itself is an urban centre on a sunny plateau, protected by the Karwendel mountain chain and the Wetterstein Mountains. This area is really snow sure - once snow has fallen in this region it persists until late spring.

The sunny Rosshütte on Mt. Härmelekopf is the largest of the five skiing areas, whereas the 1,495 m high Gschwandtkopf is an ideal training location for ski teams. It offers a fantastic panoramic view. The smaller skiing areas such as the sunny Neuleutasch practice slope and the Birkenlift & Geigenbühel skiing area are ideally suited for families and beginners. The latter offers also a wonderland for kids and snow tubing. The idyllic Hochmoos skiing area in Leutasch, however, expands around Mt. Katzenkopf where also the name-giving Hochmoos Alm ski hut can be found.

You are also spoilt for choice if you prefer other activities: curling, snow-shoeing, tobogganing or a horse-drawn sleigh ride are really hip! The Happy Ski Card Seefeld allows you the use of all facilities of the Rosshütte, Gschwandtkopf, Birkenlift & Geigenbühel skiing areas. Furthermore the Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol) and the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol) are valid here.
