Mt. Zahmer Kaiser in the holiday area Kaiserwinkl transforms into a winter wonderland with 15 km ski slopes.

On the northern slopes of the Kaiser Mountains there’s the Zahmer Kaiser skiing area. It is particularly suitable for beginners, families and those who would like to enjoy sports on snow, away from the large ski centres. Every Sunday is Family Ski Day with special prices, furthermore the Happy Hour-Card allows you every day to get the ski pass to a reduced rate from 2.30 pm!
What is worth mentioning is the “Ski-Kinderland” at the Amberg ski lift: a magic carpet, a mogul slope, a tepee and a snow tunnel wait for the children. Most of the 15 km of slopes are easy runs, the Schmiedereralm Race Track and the “Freeride Blasenalm”, however, are medium difficult. Also the popular night-time skiing is offered twice a week.
The winter sports offer is completed by the 3 km long toboggan run Zahmer Kaiser which is comfortable accessible by the 4-seater chairlift or in a 1-hour winter walk. In the Zahmer Kaiser area, however, you can go tobogganing the whole year round, as in summer the leisure centre Zahmer Kaiser offers the Walchsee summer sledge tracks. The “Tyrol Snow Card” is valid here!
