The Imster Bergbahnen lift facilities take you up to the Hoch-Imst Skiing Area on the 2,100 m high Alpbachjoch ridge.
With its gently curved slopes and its dimensions, the skiing area above the town of Imst is a popular destination for families and beginners. The 9 km of slopes offer fun for any level of difficulty - the history of this ski resort goes back more than half a century.
The little guests can discover skiing on the beginners slope next to the valley station. They are accompanied by skilled instructors and funny figures such as Albin, the mascot of the lift facilities. At the Malbach Lift, however, there's the Hoch-Imst Fun Park with 15 features.
The Untermarkter Mountain Hut (UAlm) invites to take a rest on the sun terrace. Here, the Alpine Coaster Imst starts, a toboggan run on rails with top speeds up to 40 kmph, as well as the toboggan run Untermarkter Alm with its 4 km length. The skiing area is also popular due to its night operation: The downhill run from the hut and the UAlm toboggan run are floodlit.
