The small but excellent skiing area of Vent is waiting for you near Sölden in the Oetztal valley.
In the small mountain village Vent, beautifully located at the foot of Mt. Wildspitze, winter sports start right on your doorstep. The skiing area starts at the valley station of the Wildspitze chairlift at 1,900 m a.s.l. and trends up until the "Wildes Mannle" mountain station at 2,646 m a.s.l. 15 km of ski slopes, a double chairlift and three ski tows as well as a ski and snowboard school are at your disposal. The 20 certified ski instructors show you how to feel well on skis, first in the beginners area near the church and afterwards at the Gampen ski lift.
For a bit of relaxation in between the Panorama Restaurant Stablein at the mountain station is eminently suitable. From the sun terrace you enjoy a fantastic view on the Rofental valley, the Ortles Alps in South Tyrol and the Oetztal Alps. Further on a free ski bus between Vent and Sölden, 2 km of cross-country ski trails as well as the 5 km long toboggan run Stablein Alm ensure pure winter fun. The chairlift brings you up to the starting point of the toboggan run.
Due to the particular location of village (1,900 m a.s.l.) and skiing area, reliable snow conditions till spring are guaranteed. By the way: Vent is really family-friendly, it offers a kinderland as well as a special ski pass price system for families. The Oetztal Super Ski Pass (361 km of slopes, 60 lift facilities and 6 skiing areas) is valid in this skiing area.
