In the small mountain village Vent, beautifully located at the foot of Mt. Wildspitze, winter sports start right on your doorstep.

The skiing area of Vent starts at the valley station of the Wildspitze Chairlift at 1,900 m a.s.l. and trends up until the "Wildes Mannle" mountain station at 2,646 m a.s.l. Besides 15 km of ski slopes, it offers also a ski and snowboard school: The 20 certified ski instructors show you how to feel well on skis, first in the beginners area near the church and afterwards at the Gampen Ski Lift.
For a bit of relaxation in between, the Panorama Restaurant Stablein at the mountain station is eminently suitable. From the sun terrace you enjoy a fantastic view on the Rofental valley, the Ortles Alps in South Tyrol, and the Oetztal Alps. Due to the particular high-alpine location of village, reliable snow conditions till spring are guaranteed. The Bergbahnen Vent Skiing Area is really family-friendly, it offers a kinderland as well as a special ski pass price system for families.
Further on, a free ski bus between Vent and Sölden, 2 km of cross-country ski trails near the village and the 5 km long toboggan run of the Stablein Mountain Hut ensure pure winter fun. The chairlift brings you up to the starting point of the toboggan run (460 m of altitude difference).
