Fieberbrunn, an insiders’ tip among freeriders, is connected with the large ski resort Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.
By the Fieberbrunn lift facilities in the Pillersee Valley you reach the eponymous skiing area which lies hidden in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps: It is almost unnoticeable from the valley. For beginners especially the downhill runs along the Obingleiten Lift and the Streuböden Cable Car are suitable. Pros may discover the 1 km long Lärchfilzkogel slope, the most demanding one.
With its deep snow slopes, Fieberbrunn is an insiders' tip among freeriders. A special highlight is the 600 m long PowAirea where both trend sports freeride and freestyle are combined. It offers a deep snow area with specially arranged barriers. But also the fun factor doesn't go short: What about a trip with Timok's Alpine Coaster, which starts at the Streuböden intermediate station?
The best of the best meet on the local mountain, Mt. Wildseeloder, every year for the famous Freeride World Tour, consisting of five stages. The Fieberbrunn Skiing Area in the Pillersee Valley is part of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, one of the largest ski resorts of Austria, which offers 270 km of slopes and 70 lift facilities.
