The skiing area of the Tannheimer Bergbahnen lift facilities is located on the Neunerköpfle, a 1,862 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps, rising southeast of the village of Tannheim. The 11.5 km of ski slopes are easy or medium difficult, only part of the valley run is classified as difficult (black slope).
Children will enjoy the “Ice Age-Kinderland”, a snow and adventure park for children, including a surface of 10,000 sqm as well as attractions like snow tubing, waves and a snow carousel. All over the park you have the possibility to meet the stars of the movie “Ice Age” such as Manny the woolly mammoth, and Diego the smilodon. Learning how to ski is much more easier here…
And while the children enjoy the park, adults can sow their wild oats on the perfectly groomed slopes. However, despite of the great experiences on skis, you should not forget to stop for a bite to eat or Après Ski at the refuges, e.g. at the Hubertushütte or Gundhütte ski huts, which guarantee off-piste fun! The skiing area Neunerköpfle, together with the other skiing areas of the Tannheimer Valley, is combined in the “Ski Tannheimer Tal”, accessible all with one ski pass only.
