The See skiing area in the Paznauntal valley takes you up to the spectacular powder snow slopes beneath Mt. Rotpleiskopf.
The family-friendly skiing area See comprises 41 km of well-groomed ski slopes and is comfortably accessible from the centre of the village via the modern 6-seater gondola lift of the Bergbahnen See lift facilities. For children and beginners there is the vast area of the See Ski School in which you can make your first steps on snow. It is located at the intermediate station, where there is also the snow kindergarten for toddlers from 2 years of age.
Snowboarders, however, will find everything their heart desires in the Snowboard Fun Park with its Waves e Medium-Kicker. In your winter holidays in the Paznauntal valley you can also enjoy nighttime-skiing after the spectacular "Fire and Ice" show and a toboggan ride on the longest illuminated natural toboggan run of Tyrol.
With the inauguration of the 8-seater Versing Cable Car with the respective ski slopes and snow-making equipment some years ago, further 8 km of ski slopes and ski routes as well as the impressive powder snow slopes beneath the 2,936 m high Rotpleiskopf were made accessible. A real challenge is the difficult "Adrenaline" ski route with a drop of 75%. The Snow Card Tyrol (more than 90 skiing areas in Tyrol), the Tyrol Regio Card (reductions for leisure time facilities in Tyrol) and the Silvretta Ski Pass (Ischgl, Galtür, Kappl and See) are valid in the See skiing area.
