See Skiing Area - Paznauntal

The See Skiing Area in the Paznaun Valley takes you up to the spectacular powder snow slopes beneath Mt. Rotpleiskopf

The family-friendly See Skiing Area comprises 42.5 km of well-groomed slopes and is comfortably accessible from the village centre via the modern 6-seater gondola lift of the Bergbahnen See. The skiing area is known to be the quiet alternative to the nearby world-famous Ischgl Skiing Area. The free Paznaun Ski Bus takes you directly to the lift facilities, which can also be used with the Silvretta Ski Pass. In December 2022, the new 8-seater Furglerblick Cable Car was added to the offer. Furthermore, from the winter season 2023/24, the See Skiing Area is part of the Skischaukel Kappl & See which unites the two skiing areas with one ski pass and a ski bus service (10-15 minutes).

For children and beginners there is the vast area of the See Ski School in which you can make your first steps on snow. It is located at the intermediate station of the See Skiing Area, where there is also the kindergarten which offers entertainment off the slopes for children from 2 years on. Snowboarders, however, will find everything their heart desires at the Snowboard Fun Park with its waves which is freshly prepared every day, and on the 3 km long mogul slope. At the ski depot of the Medrigjoch Cable Car, you can even heat your ski boots on request.

For an unforgettable winter holiday, don't miss nighttime-skiing at the "Medrig at Night" event and a toboggan ride on one of the longest illuminated natural toboggan runs of Tyrol, the 6 km long Medrigjoch toboggan run. With the inauguration of the Versing Cable Car some years ago, also the impressive powder snow slopes beneath the Rotpleiskopf mountain were made accessible. A real challenge is the difficult Adrenaline Ski Route with a drop of 75 %. Have fun!
