Muttereralm Skiing Area - Innsbruck

On the Mutters Alpine Pasture near Innsbruck there’s the Götzens Slope, one of the most beautiful forested ski runs in Austria.

At the entrance of the Stubaital valley there is the hiking area of the Mutters Alpine Pasture, called Muttereralm, which in winter transforms into a popular family skiing area. The Muttereralm Cable Car was constructed in the 1950s and rebuilt some years ago - in 2006 the skiing area was re-inaugurated. Furthermore there is the Nockspitz Cable Car which starts in the village of Götzens.

The major part of the 15 km of ski slopes of the Muttereralm Skiing Area are easy or medium difficult, among which there are also two family runs. For those who love challenges, there is a FIS run, the Pfriemesköpfl Race Track, and the Götzens Slope, one of the most beautiful forested ski slopes in Austria, which was put in place as a reserve route for the Olympic Winter Games.

100% of the slopes can be groomed with artificial snow. Highlights are the MAP Fun Park featuring the Kiddies Park at the Almboden Lift, the Jib Alley, the Slopestyle Area, and the Wood Park. Two toboggan runs and the permanent fatbike & snowbike trail complete the winter offer.
