3 Country Leisure Arena

The impressive “3 Länder Freizeit-Arena” ski resort (formerly Schneewinkel) stretches between North Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria.

The 3 Country Leisure Arena, known until 2017 as Schneewinkel, includes eight skiing areas, five of them in North Tyrol, two in the region of Salzburg and one in Bavaria in Southern Germany. Via one ski pass only you can access 171 km of perfectly groomed slopes and 61 lift facilities. The facts are impressive: 55% of the slopes can be covered with artificial snow by 485 snow cannons, 8 reservoirs provide the necessary water, 34 ski huts invite to stop and relax.

In North Tyrol, the ski resort includes the Steinplatte skiing area in the Kitzbühel Alps which is connected to the Winklmoosalm pasture on the Bavarian side, the Buchensteinwand skiing area of the Bergbahn Pillersee lift facilities, the SkiStar St. Johann in Tirol, the Lärchenhof Erpfendorf ski lifts and the family skiing area of Kirchdorf. In addition, there are the two Salzburg skiing areas: the Almenwelt Lofer as well as Heutal in Unken, both located in the beautiful Saalachtal valley.

In all respects the 3 Country Leisure Arena attracts a large number of winter sports enthusiasts. It offers a range of special offers for children in the kids’ parks such as the “Triassi Kinderland” in Waidring, the Bobo Kids Park in the Buchensteinwand skiing area or “Valle’s World” with the snowman Valle in St. Johann in Tirol. In addition, there are 10 ski schools and four Snow Parks such as the QPark in St. Johann in Tirol and the Snow Park Steinplatte. A real ski eldorado!
