In Vent, at the foot of the Wildspitze, winter fun begins right on your doorstep. The Bergbahnen Vent Skiing Area stretches from the Wildspitze base station to the "Wildes Mannle" mountain station, 760 metres higher. In addition to 15 kilometres of slopes, a ski and snowboard school also awaits. Certified ski instructors will teach you how to stand confidently on your skis - initially in the practice area and then on the Gampen Ski Lift, one of the four lift facilities.
From the Stablein panoramic restaurant at the mountain station, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Rofental valley, the Ortler Alps, and the Oetztal Alps from the sun terrace. Thanks to the high-alpine location of Vent - the village lies at 1,900 metres above sea level - and the skiing area, snow is guaranteed well into spring. Family-friendliness is a top priority here: In addition to a children's area, special family prices are also available.
Vent is one of six ski areas included in the Oetztal Super Ski Pass. The offer also features the free ski bus between Vent and Sölden. Cross-country skiers will find 2 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, while tobogganists can whiz down the 5-kilometre-long Stablein toboggan run, which is accessible by chairlift. The high altitudes around Vent also offer fantastic opportunities for ski touring and snowshoeing. And in spring, the sunshine skiing beckons.
