Very close to the Tyrolean capital, the Rangger Köpfl near Oberperfuss is perfect for a family winter sports day. It’s not just at the summit that you will find a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains: The panorama stretches from the Mieminger Range over the Wetterstein and Karwendel Mountains to the Lechtal and Tux Alps.
The very easy blue to red pistes, combined with modern lifts, are a delight for every skier. Additionally, Mt. Rangger Köpfl features a top-class toboggan run with over 10 kilometres of fun - the longest run in North Tyrol (of which eight kilometres are floodlit). Time for a break?
Three mountain huts - Stiglreith, Sulzstich and the Rosskogelhütte - invite you to take a rest. There is also a 10-kilometre network of idyllic winter hiking trails and a panoramic cross-country ski trail at an altitude of around 2,000 metres, which will delight any winter sports enthusiast.
