Adventure Park “Family World”

In St. Jakob in Haus, in the lower Pillersee Valley, there is a family park that boasts more than 40 attractions.

In the Pillersee Valley, a big children’s dream comes true! On a surface of 20,000 sqm in the Adventure Park “Family World” (Freizeitpark “Familienland”), kids can try out more than 40 attractions, such as a narrow gauge railway, a devil’s slide that is only for the most daring, as well as a unique rafting lane. A highlight is the “Big Bang” roller coaster, with 22 metres Austria’s highest family roller coaster. Want to have a try?

The adventure park and the action playground have got even more to offer. There is a petting zoo with goats, chicken, rabbits and cavies that is particularly popular. And it is of course very exciting that kids can sit on the little ponies. Inside the facility the children can also play if the weather is bad. And in the indoor climbing gym, there are 60 climbing routes for adults and kids as well as slack lines, trampolines, an area for bouldering and a rock bar.

Some years ago the Adventure Park “Family World” has been enlarged, a health area was added and a Death Sea grotto inaugurated. On 140 sqm, impressive 40,000 kg salt of the Death Sea are spread on the walls and floor and provide a micro climate that normally only prevails at the seaside. The salt has a beneficial impact on people suffering from allergies, skin disorders, stress, circulatory and respiratory diseases. Did you know that a 45-minutes’ stay in the grotto is like a stay of three days at the seaside? Feel the relaxation!
