The Muttereralm Park, accessible from Mutters by cable car, is a famous destination for families and sports enthusiasts. The Mutterer Mountain Carts make the Muttereralm a real adventure mountain: A 5 km long route proceeds from the mountain station to the valley station.
Moreover there are MTB trails, the Bikepark Innsbruck from the mountain station to the intermediate station of the cable car, and yoga courses in the heart of the mountains on a regular basis. Also for the young ones plenty of attractions are on offer. They can discover the Nature Path which ends at the Generation Motor Skills Park, a 7,000 sqm large adventure park with a pond and tree houses with chain bridges, the Magic Water and geocaching.
The Muttereralm Park is also open in winter. Then the adventure mountain and eponymous skiing area turns into a huge winter paradise with kid's world, enchanted forest and three sledge runs.

The Muttereralm Park stays open in summer and in winter, during the skiing season as winter park (the ski pass prices are valid). The opening hours refer to the Muttereralm Cable Car, which takes you to there: It operates from the end of May to the end of October every day from 9 am to 5 pm.
The Mutterer Mountain Carts operate from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, helmet and closed shoes are obligatory. The Mutters Trails are accessible from 8 am to 6 pm, the Nockspitz Cable Car to the Götzens Trails operates only on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August, in order to guarantee the necessary rest periods to nature and wildlife. In July and August, a free bike shuttle runs every Wednesday and Saturday between Innsbruck and Mutters.
