The “Natur Eis Palast”, that’s to say Nature’s Ice Palace, is an ice cave which is accessible all-year-round.

The mighty Hintertux Glacier offers not only the highest located show cave of Europe, the Spannagel Cave, but also an accessible crevasse. The Glacier Bus 3 (cable car) takes you to the mountain station at 3,250 m a.s.l. Just a few minutes away there's the Nature's Ice Palace (Natur Eis Palast, in German). It offers an insight into the eternal ice of the Hintertux Glacier - big stalactites and sparkling ice crystals, a glacial lake and frozen waterfalls await you.
The ice cave is open all-year-round and features a constant temperature of 0 degrees C, making it accessible with ski boots as well as with warm clothing and sturdy shoes in summer. Several tours are on offer: the one-hour VIP-Tour with boat trip, an exclusive photo tour, stand up paddling on the glacial lake inside the crevasse, ice swimming (if you dare) and an unforgettable kayaking session. The choice is yours!
New in the Nature's Ice Palace is the anniversary tour in occasion of the 10th anniversary celebrated in 2018 - it leads you also to the newly discovered "Hintertux Glacier Cathedral".
