The Glacier Flea Park (Gletscherflohpark) of Luis, the Glacier Flea, on the Hintertux Glacier in the Zillertal valley is the highest located adventure playground in all of Europe. Here, at impressive 3,250 m a.s.l., you can have a snowball fight between July and September, enjoy the stunning view on the surrounding peaks, and have fun at the single adventure stations.
The highlights include a play castle in the eternal ice, a climbing wall, a go-kart track, and a giant slide - the mascot of the playground, the "Glacier Flea Luis", accompanies you. A snow tube carousel, a giant gondola, and a tubing track complete the offer.
The Glacier Flea Park can be reached comfortably by cable car from Hintertux. If you'd like to do a hike, you can walk up there: In 2 hours the trail takes you from the valley via the Bichlalm Mountain Hut to the playground. However, if you prefer to stay at lower altitudes, then the Flea Park is the right destination, a playground at the Sommerberg Mountain Hut at 2,100 m a.s.l.
