Only a short walk from the mountain station Hochbrixen there is the idyllic Filzalmsee.

The Filzalmsee, located in the Wilder Kaiser mountain chain is particularly popular on hot summer days. It can comfortably be reached by the Brixen im Thale Cable Car which takes you up to 1,300 m a.s.l. in the Hochbrixen hiking area. From the mountain station, it's only a 5-minutes' walk...
Not only the natural landscape in the area of Lake Filzalmsee is impressive. There are also lots of attractions. Close to the lake there is a biotope, providing an insight into the underwater world in the pond. Furthermore there is a colossal hand movable via ropes, a huge eye turning the world upside down, as well as a water giant rising from the lake.
Highlights for your wellbeing are a mud basin, a Kneipp basin, the foot massage, and for kids the water games area, the jumbo xylophone, and the tree houses. The lake is a perfect starting point for hikes to other theme parks, including the Witch's Water Hochsöll and Ellmi’s Magic World.
