Senn’s WonderWalkingWay

Near the Sennhütte mountain hut there is Senn's WonderWalkingWay. This special theme trail starts at Lake Maiensee above the village, and takes you past 25 different stations in a 1-hour walk. Here, at 1,500 m a.s.l., the hike ends then on the sun terrace of the Sennhütte.

Between the stations of the adventure trail there are the Alpine Flower and Herb Trail, and the new Edelweiss Path. Particularly interesting is the Mint Avenue with more than 40 different types of mints, as well as the largest edelweiss of the Alps with more than 100,000 blossoms and energy loungers to relax in the middle. For kids there is a Fairy Meadow and Forest, and a Witch Garden.

Another station is the nature and water playground with a tree house. From the platforms, you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Senn's WonderWalkingWay (Senn's WunderWanderWeg) was awarded several times, e.g. with a Guinness World Record: The Sea of Edelweiss has the world's "largest flower arrangement by number of blossoms" (107,126 pieces). New, however, is "Our Little Farm" near the hut, where the rabbits Lilly and Emmi, and the goats Willi, Abby, and Leni await you.
