Between the Scheffau-Brandstadl mountain station and the Brandstadl mountain inn, there's a special world. Once they left the gondola, kids can pass the castle gate, which makes them enter the Emperor's Realm (KaiserWelt) with its KaiserForest and the PlayWorld with tree houses.
Calmer, however, is the tinkering corner. On holidays, children can experience there a wide range of activities for a little contribution towards expenses and under ward, so that the parents can enjoy lying in the sun on the Brandstadl terrace. Also several panoramic trails start from here - at 1,650 m a.s.l. - including the Emperor's Trail and the Marmot's Trail. Both are circular paths.
In the surroundings there's Lake Jochstub'nsee, a mountain lake which can be reached in a 1-hour hike from the Brandstadl. The perfect place to lean back and let body, mind and soul relax...
