Swarovski Crystal Worlds

Scintillating jewels and glittering figures expect you in the redesigned and newly opened Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens.

Experience a breathtaking world of crystals in Wattens near Innsbruck: in 1995 the Swarovski Crystal Worlds were established on the occasion of the centenary anniversary of the foundation of the crystal company Swarovski. Already the entrance of the museum amazes the visitors, as it features the shape of a huge spouting head of an alpine giant, created by the Austrian artist, writer and actor André Heller. In 2015 the Swarovski Crystal Worlds (Swarovski Kristallwelten, in German) were redesigned and newly opened due to the 120th anniversary of Swarovski's founding in Tyrol.

Among the new attractions are five new Chambers of Wonder: "Silent Light" with its crystal tree, "Into Lattice Sun", designed by the South Korean artist Lee Bul, "Studio Job Wunderkammer", designed by the designer duo Studio Job, "Eden", an archaic primeval world, and "Timeless", which tells the history of Swarovski. Also new are the playtower and playground as well as the unique Crystal Cloud in the new garden: an installation consisting of 800,000 hand-mounted Swarovski crystals which drifts above the black Mirror Pool. Really amazing!

Moreover various special exhibitions and concerts ("Music in the Giant") take place in this unique ambience. Hungry? The "Daniels Kristallwelten. Café & Restaurant" waits for you, a light-filled pavilion where you feel as if you are sitting directly in the garden of the Giant.
