Zillertal Show Dairy

The Zillertal Show Dairy (Schau-Sennerei Zillertal) invites to an interesting excursion into the world of hay milk products. The aim is to show the origin and production in an exciting way: Audio guides take you through the "transparent factory", while videos and display boards complement the experience. This includes a look behind the scenes of hay milk processing: from the milk delivery to the production of butter, yoghurt & co. and the cheese ripening in the treasure chamber.

Important element thereby is the show farm, where Tyrol Grey, hens, pigs and goats are kept species-appropriate. In between, there are a mini tractor course and a giant slide. The young ones may enjoy hay hopping, and the adults may relax in the reading corner. And finally, the products of course can be tasted during the yoghurt "Genusslöffeln" - together with the Mile of Pleasure and the "Cheese-o-mat" it completes the delight for the palate. The 6,000 sq m large Zillertal Show Dairy offers also a farm shop and the "Sennereiküche" restaurant (literally: Dairy Kitchen).

Since 1954, this family run business has refined hay milk in natural way, and has processed it into top quality products. The young guests are accompanied by the blue cow Zilli and its farmer.
