The Alpine dairy does not only offer a show farm but also a farm shop and a restaurant.
In Hollenzen, a district of Mayrhofen, the Zillertal Adventure Dairy (Erlebnissennerei Zillertal) invites to an interesting excursion into the world of milk products. The aim is to show the origin and production of the hay milk products in an exciting way. Important element thereby is the show farm, where cows, sheep and goats are kept species-appropriate. Besides, it offers special games for the young ones as well as rest areas and a reading corner for the adults.
Since 1954, this family run business has refined hay milk from cow, sheep and goat in the most natural way, and has processed it into top quality products. The young guests are accompanied by the blue cow Zilli and its farmer. And finally, the products of course can be tasted.
The 6,000 sq m large Zillertal Adventure Dairy offers also a farm shop and the "Sennereiküche" restaurant (literally: Dairy Kitchen). So the delicacies of the dairy and the regional products can be tasted and enjoyed in a very special atmosphere.
