Some years ago, the Nature Pool "Badino" (Naturerlebnisbad "Badino") was inaugurated on the areal of the former swimming pool of Vorderhornbach. The facility comprises a huge pond for bathing and lawns for sun-bathing, as well as a natural diving platform, a river for kids, and a liana. The basin is accessible by stairs, ladders, or a gentle ramp.
A beach volley field, a soccer field, and a children's playground complete the offer on the 1,000 sqm large area. What is also an advantage is its location along the Lech Cycle Route, which enables you to come by bicycle and then jump into the water.
And how does the Nature Pool "Badino" work? The bathing pond is devided into a swimming and a self-purificating zone. The self-regulating process is supported by a combined filter and pumping system, without any chemicals. In winter, however, the pond transforms into an ice skating ground that is illuminated, beside there is a cross-country ski run.
