It was voted “Tyrol’s most beautiful natural bathing lake”: We are talking about the bathing lake in Going am Wilden Kaiser

In the region of the majestic Wilder Kaiser, on the edge of Going's forest, the bathing lake of the village awaits you. It is easy to reach and is fed by the natural springs of Mt. Wilder Kaiser, which also serves as a backdrop for a summer day in Tyrol. The water of the lake warms up to 24 degrees C in summer, and the white bathing beach gives you the perfect holiday feeling.
The natural bathing lake, called Badesee Going in German, offers you a separate children's and non-swimmer's bay, a 100 m long open-air slide, a wave slide and an adventure play park with a pirate ship, which is undoubtedly the most popular place for the little guests during the opening hours. Parents and anyone in need of some relaxation, on the other hand, can enjoy the 50,000 sqm sunbathing lawn. The lake buffet helps to satisfy small and large appetites.
If you've had enough of swimming and sunbathing, you can visit the JoeRASSic Beach Arena on the lake, Western Austria's largest beach volleyball facility with four courts and its own warm-up area.
