Arlberg WellCom

The spa and leisure centre Arlberg WellCom is also a popular venue for congresses, seminars and events.

Impressive is above all the architecture of the Arlberg WellCom. Originally planned as media centre for the Alpine Ski World Cup 2001, the huge hall has partially been built into the slope, and the flat roof with greening merges into the slope. Subsequently the hall was transformed into a multifunctional hall with gastronomy and spa. In 2002 the concept was awarded with the Austrian state award for tourism and architecture, in 2003 the IAKS-IOC award (bronze medal) completed the award series. However, also the name of the facility is particularly remarkable: welcome to the Arlberg WellCom, the spa and leisure centre in the heart of St. Anton am Arlberg!

The offer of the facility is split up in two large areas: on the one hand spa, entertainment and sports, on the other hand the Arlberg WellCom as popular congress centre, entirely surrounded by a fabulous world of mountains. For swimming, there is an indoor and outdoor area, which makes this sports an adventure the whole year round. About 200 sqm inside, additional 460 sqm relax area and a 32° C warm baby pool, completing the outdoor area. A wave pool connects the two areas. Immerse into this unique water world of relaxation in the sauna and with relaxing massages.

Those who love sports can look forward to a fitness studio, two outdoor clay courts, two indoor tennis courts with rubber coating and in winter an ice skating ground with "Disco on ice", ideal also for curling, entertainment both for adults and kids. The versatile World Championship hall is, however, venue for fairs, congresses and exhibitions, fashion shows, sports and music events. To sum up, the Arlberg WellCom, together with the friendly village of St. Anton am Arlberg and the impressive mountain scenery, make the village a place that is easily kept in mind.
