Above the Pletzerbach stream in the Pillersee Valley, a true natural jewel and popular moor bath is located: Lake Lauchsee. In the summer months, this outdoor pool is open and awaits you with water that is said to have a beneficial effect on tension, rheumatism and intervertebral disc problems. The large sunbathing lawn offers a magnificent view on Mt. Buchensteinwand and on the Leogang and Lofer Mountains. Families are especially catered for here.
A separate bathing area for children has been designated, a small playground provides entertainment, and the restaurant with terrace offers all kinds of tasty treats. There are two small islands in the lake itself. You can rent sunbeds, parasols and SUPs on site, and there are tennis courts next door. A water trampoline facility, table tennis, spin football and a volleyball court complete the facilities at the Moor Lake Lauchsee.
The bathing establishment is open from May to September, depending on the weather, and is operated by the Aubad, an indoor adventure pool with sauna village in Fieberbrunn.
