Reith bei Kitzbühel is located at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain chain, only a few km from Kitzbühel. The charming village connects the Brixental to the Söllandl - that's to say the villages around Söll am Wilden Kaiser - and represents a calm alternative to the vibrant life of Kitzbühel.

Reith bei Kitzbühel is well-known among golf players: The Golf Club Kitzbühel Schwarzsee-Reith is located here in a unique position. The 18-hole golf course, a popular venue for international golf tournaments, extends near Lake Schwarzsee, one of the most beautiful and warmest lakes for bathing in the Alps. It features an outdoor pool on its shores and a boat rental. Another lake in the surroundings is the Gieringer Pond in the recreation area Bichlach.

In winter, the above mentioned Schwarzsee is usually frozen over - perfect for playing hockey and for ice skating. Cross-country skiers can enjoy the surroundings of the lake on the almost 20 km long Schwarzsee track. High up in the mountains, however, skiing areas such as the KitzSki Kitzbühel-Kirchberg on the Ehrenbachhöhe and Mt. Hahnenkamm, are visited by skiers and snowboarders from all over the world. They enchant with the winter magic of the Kitzbühel Alps.
