Sunshine Skiing

The skiing areas of Tyrol offer the best conditions for skiing until late spring, called ”Sonnenskilauf”

Glistening powder snow and the first warm sunrays on the terraces of the ski huts - that's sunshine skiing! Snow-making systems and the height guarantee top conditions on the slopes. So you can be sure to have pure fun in skiing in part from Candlemas (February 2) until at least middle of April, e.g. in areas like the Silvretta Arena, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl or Kühtai (in the picture).

Another guarantee for sunshine skiing even until May and June are the five glaciers of Tyrol, all of them are skiing areas: the Hintertux, Kaunertal, Pitztal and Stubai Glaciers, and the glacier world of Sölden. There you are in a height of over 3,000 m. While nature awakes down in the valley, you enjoy once again the snow on the mountain peaks. But don't forget your suncream!
