Stanzertal Arlberg Cycle Route

The cycle path through the Stanzertal valley connects Flirsch to St. Anton am Arlberg: It follows the course of the Rosanna river

From Flirsch in the lower Stanzertal valley, the Stanzertal Arlberg Cycle Route (Radweg Stanzertal Arlberg) proceeds along the village road to the Rosanna shore path. It continues to Schnann, where it leads to the southern side of the valley, and via Pettneu and St. Jakob am Arlberg to St. Anton. This section known as Rosanna Path is also a popular riverside promenade frequented by hikers. Near St. Anton am Arlberg, the cycle route leads to the other side of the valley again, and ends in the town centre, only a stone's throw away from the valley station of the Galzig Cable Car.

The Stanzertal Arlberg Cycle Route has not got any direct connections to other cycle paths. You can either choose to continue from Flirsch on the main road B197 and B171 to the town of Landeck (14 km), where the Inn Cycle Route and the Via Claudia Augusta Cycle Route pass by, or you can follow one of the MTB trails starting in Pettneu and St. Anton am Arlberg.
