The SkyGlider AirRofan offers a special flight adventure in the Rofan Mountains high above Lake Achensee

Taking the Rofan Cable Car from Maurach am Achensee into the beautiful Rofan Mountains, the SkyGlider AirRofan right next to the mountain station catches the eye. It pulls daring people, secured by a rope, from the plateau 200 metres up to the peak of Mt. Gschöllkopf (2,040 m a.s.l.), where the Adlerhorst (Eyrie) platform, an impressive structural steelwork, is located.
From this point you can return at a speed of 80 kph back to the starting point. The motto of the skygliding adventure is "fun is our goal". The minimum size is 1.30 metres, and the minimum age is 10 years (special rates for kids). AirRofan is in operation also during the skiing season.
Moreover, a flight can perfectly be combined with a hike to one of the nearby mountain huts, e.g. to the Dalfaz Mountain Hut (1 hour), or to the Adlerhorst panoramic platform (45 minutes). The minimum body height for the AirRofan is 1.30 metres, the minimum age 10 years. Have fun!

More information
The Rofan Cable Car operates daily from 8 resp. 8.30 am to 5 resp. 5.30 pm.
The SkyGlider is open in summer and in winter, season closure in spring (April) and in autumn (November to December). Closed in winter 2022/23.
