At Mt. Zahmer Kaiser, near Lake Walchsee in the Kaiserwinkl area, two fast summer toboggan runs run down the slopes and meadows. The route leads at great speed through an underpass, over a 90 metres long bridge and 10 steep bends. From 3 years on, children can be co-drivers, from 8 years on they can go by themselves.
On the first ride, everything may still be a bit hesitant... so it's best to take the 4-seater chairlift to the intermediate station again and try again. You can choose between one-seater and two-seater toboggans, which are all equipped with a brake so that you can determine the speed yourself. At the bottom station the toboggan stops, and is (empty) automatically transported back to the start.
At 1,000 m a.s.l. there is another highlight for families: the new forest play park with trampoline, climbing frame and play diggers in the middle of the scenic Gruberwald forest. It can be found above the summer toboggan runs at the mountain station and is also accessible by chairlift. In winter, the area is transformed into the Zahmer Kaiser Skiing Area with 13.5 km of slopes.

The summer toboggan runs Walchsee operate every year from mid-May to the end of October, in July and August every day, outside these times from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays.
On rainy days, the toboggan runs remain closed. The Berghof Zahmer Kaiser restaurant at the mountain station is closed on Wednesdays, table reservation: restaurant@zahmerkaiser.com.
Season start 2025 on May 16.
