The Alpine Coaster of the Alpbachtal valley, the "Lauser-Sauser", is located at the popular adventure playground Lauserland, beneath the mountain station of the Wiedersbergerhorn Cable Car at 1,850 m a.s.l. Here starts a special experience, a year-round toboggan run on rails.
The facts are impressive: The length of the track is 1,420 metres. On this distance it overcomes an altitude difference of 134 metres, and passes the highest spin which can be found in Austria in a height of 18 metres. In the approx. 8 minutes driving time you reach speeds of over 40 kph.
A photo point and speed measurement make the ride with the "Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser" an unforgettable experience - even in winter, when the landscape turns into a white winter wonderland. Children from 8 years and a height of 1.30 metres may drive alone, children from 3 years may ride as co-drivers (with an adult).

More information
The Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser operates every day in summer and in winter, and adapts to the seasons of the Wiedersbergerhorn Cable Car. The Lauser-Sauser and the cable car remain closed in spring (April to early June) and in autumn (early November to Christmas).
The Lauserland itself, however, stays open only in summer.
Summer season start 2025 on June 7, winter season start 2025/2026 around Christmas.
