In Mathon, part of the municipality of Ischgl and in the middle of an impressive mountain world, there is the Silvretta Wildlife Park (Wildpark Silvretta) with petting zoo and playground. This facility is located directly along the valley hiking trail called "Talwanderweg", which in winter is a cross-country ski track. Deer, roes, ibex, black grouses and marmots can be admired in this place.
For the little guests, there is also a petting zoo, the goats are looking forward to your tender loving care. A spacious children's playground in the middle of a meadow completes the offer of the facility. In the meanwhile, the parents can lean back and relax.
For adults, however, there is the Wildererhütte lodge - in this mountain hut you can taste a wide variety of products of local agriculture and have a delicious local meal such as pork hocks or fresh trouts - in the rustic ambience of the mountain hut or on the sun terrace. Moreover you can have a look into the small but interesting hunting museum. Have fun!
