Climbing Park Galitzenklamm

One of the climbing parks in the beautiful East Tyrol is located in the Galitzen Gorge at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites

Directly at the Drava Cycle Route in Leisach, 3 km south-west of Lienz, there's the Galitzen Gorge. There, where the Galitzenbach brook flows into the Drava river, there is also a water adventure park, which makes the power of water impressively visible.

And this is exactly where the Climbing Park Galitzenklamm (Kletterpark Galitzenklamm) with three courses (blue, red, black) and a 25 metres long Flying Fox course was opened some time ago. Rope constructions, wooden ladders and floating elements await you here at heights of up to 12 metres. Children up to the age of 13 must climb accompanied by an adult.

In the gorge you will also find a snack-bar and various via ferrata routes. Together with the Climbing Park Schlossberg Lienz, the Greifenburg Climbing Park at the eponymous bathing lake in Carinthia, and the high rope course in St. Jakob in the Defereggental valley in East Tyrol, the Climbing Park Galitzenklamm forms a unit with a stamp pass - every 4th visit is free.
