In Mathon, part of the municipality of Ischgl and in the middle of an impressive mountain world, there is the Silvretta Wildlife Park with tavern and playground. This facility is located directly along the valley hiking trail called "Talwanderweg", which in winter is a cross-country ski track.
Red deer, ibex, and goats can be admired at the Silvretta Wildlife Park (Wildpark Silvretta). For the little guests, there is also a petting zoo: The sheep, rabbits, and guinea pigs are looking forward to your tender loving care. A children's playground with trampoline and climbing frame completes the offer of the facility. In the meanwhile, the parents can lean back and relax.
For adults, however, there is the Wildererhütte lodge. In this mountain hut you can taste a wide variety of products of local agriculture - in the rustic ambience of the mountain hut or at the beer garden. Moreover you can have a look into the small but interesting hunting museum. Have fun!
