Description
Red but beaming faces everywhere. Each year, up to a thousand happy athletes, invigorated by their nature experiences, arrive at the finish line of the Zillertaler Steinbockmarsch.
For decades, this hiking event has had the character of a folk festival. Here, young and old start at the crack of dawn to cover 30 kilometres in high alpine terrain. Despite the high fun factor, participants should bring a good level of fitness and, above all, sure-footedness and a head for heights.
