Bike Opening Sölden

Ötztal Valley is one of Tirol’s top mountain biking locales. And with the “Sölden Bike Republic” it even got better: The biker’s mecca celebrates its grand season opening from June 07 to 09, 2024. The village of Sölden prides itself in featuring Tirol’s biggest pump track named “Rolling” that is located at the heart of the village—big grins guaranteed! If you want to kick your biking excitement up a notch, you might consider Europe’s first Big Air Outdoor Jump Ramp for BMX bikers and new lines to be opened.

Undisputed highlight of the opening day activities is the 3rd Bike Republic Sölden Rally on June 08, 2024, a spectacular race event for Enduro and Downhill enthusiasts. In teams of two or three, the participants set off atop the 3,000-meter peak of Gaislachkogel equipped with a ‘diplomatic passport’. During the course of the day, the participants have to fulfil various amusing tasks along single trails that run up and down the mountain. Whoever completes all the tasks first and has all stamps in their ‘diplomatic passport’ to verify this, will win the rally.

Riders of all levels and spectators are welcome to join the fun. There will trial shows, riding skills clinics, an expo and festival area, complimentary bike demos, child activity programs and great entertainment.
