Motorway vignette for Austria: costs, validity and information - and an exception
The over 2,000-kilometre long Austrian motorway and expressway network requires a vignette. However, there is an exception in Tyrol: The section of the A 12 Inntal motorway between the national border at Kufstein and the Kufstein South junction is toll-free.
You can purchase the digital vignette from the beginning of November. In 2026, the traditional adhesive vignette will be offered as an alternative for the last time; this must be attached to the inside of the windscreen.
