Artisans at the Advent market invite visitors to linger, browse, and buy. Zillertal handicrafts are showcased, such as handmade 'Doggeln' (traditional slippers), nativity scenes, and gift ideas made from natural materials.

Local choirs, 'Klöpfelsinger' (traditional carol singers), brass ensembles, and communal singing spread festive cheer at the forest festival grounds. The Mayrhofen Advent market at the forest festival grounds also promises a special experience for all children. A visit from Saint Nicholas, the bakehouse, and the petting zoo, among other attractions, will make children's eyes light up.

From Mayrhofen's main street, a 300-metre walk through the romantic Scheulingwald forest leads to the forest festival grounds.

The grounds are surrounded by rustic, open, and fully equipped log cabins and a concert stage. Special lighting transforms this charming forest location into a cosy, almost mystical place. The cabins are furnished for visitors to sit on comfortable furniture at tables, snuggle under blankets, enjoy culinary delights, listen to music, watch plays, and find time for themselves and their families.
