Description
Every summer, legends like Evita, Jesus, or Deloris van Cartier appear at the Kufstein Musical Summer, against a unique Alpine and fortress backdrop.
Since 2008, the Kufstein Musical Summer has brought major musicals with professional actors, singers, and dancers to the already impressive stage of the Fortress Arena. Numerous high-calibre productions have already been performed on the open-air stage of Kufstein Fortress, including 'Carmen' with choreography by Enrique Gasa Valga, the classic 'Sister Act' directed by Michael Lerchenberg, and Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. Leonard Bernstein's 'West Side Story' is on the programme for 2025.
Thanks to the open-air stage's roof, performances take place in all weathers. Should a postponement be necessary, alternative dates are available.
