"1685" is the motto of the 38th edition of the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music (July 15 - August 31, 2014). In 1685 Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frederic Handel and Domenico Scarlatti were born, and their works are the focus of the festival. The programme includes the Ambras Castle Concerts (July 15 - August 5, 2014), operas (this year by Handel, Scarlatti and Cesti) and the Festival Concerts.
