Description
The Geierwally as a novel and film character has been a symbol of female strength and self-determination for centuries. Thirty years ago, when the theatre enthusiasts of the Lechtal played for the first time in front of the breathtaking backdrop of the Bernhardtal Gorge in Elbigenalp, the Tyrolean author Felix Mitterer wrote them a new and modern version of the story of Geierwally. The Geierwally open-air stage has long since been established as a summer theatre stage, and for its 30th anniversary in 2023 they will be reviving "Die Geierwally" and adding concerts by stars such as Semino Rossi, Nik P., Bluatschink and others to the programme.
