Description
Mayrhofen Ultraks is the ultimate Ziller Valley running spectacle – versatile, challenging, and scenically impressive. Ready for your dream mountain trail?
From the kids' mini-run to the ultra-long challenge on high-altitude trails: the Mayrhofen Ultraks are a special kind of running event with a wide range of difficulty levels and course distances. The flagship course is the Z101, spanning – precisely – 101 kilometres and 8,500 metres of elevation gain, extending to the Schönbichler Horn. The 70-kilometre course offers a slightly "gentler" journey through the Tux Alps to the Geierjoch (4,000 metres of elevation gain). The 50-kilometre distance (3,200 metres of elevation gain) leads across the Penken Plateaus to the scenic Rastkogel mountain.
Don't worry, there are also courses for newcomers to mountain running: the MUZ30 to Penkenjoch and back, as well as the MUZ14. For those who like it steep, the Vertical distance covers 8.5 kilometres with a challenging 1,250 metres of elevation gain. Speedsters are drawn to the Sprint course, spanning 7 kilometres with a "modest" 350 metres of elevation gain. And the youngest participants can choose between 450-metre and 1,800-metre courses.
Spoilt for choice? Well, now it's your turn. Happy running!
