Passo Resia - Nauders skiing area
Three skiing areas, two nations and one skipass - that’s what is going to expect you in the tri-border region.
The skiing area Passo Resia - Nauders is a transnational skiing region and offers varied ski slopes ranging from 1,400 to 2,850 m asl. Due to this altitude and the powerful snow making system, snow is never lacking in this area. Majestic mountains of three different countries tower above this skiing region, e.g. the Cevedale, “King” Ortles and Palla Bianca.
Any way, the three skiing areas - Belpiano and Malga Haider in South Tyrol (I) and the Bergkastel skiing area in Nauders (A) - offer all your heart desires and not only those who love skiing, but also snowboarders will be totally satisfied. Treeless summit slopes, plain terrain for beginners, up to 9 km long slopes and challenging moguls slopes, that’s what you will have to face. Nauders was rewarded with the quality award for slopes, the cross-country ski quality award and in 2009, as first skiing area, the Tyrolean tobogganing award. Snowboarders will be attracted by the recently extended boardercross run in the Bergkastel skiing area. All of the three skiing areas belonging to the ski region Passo Resia - Nauders are accessible by one skipass only. Let’s have fun!
