Schlick 2000 - Stubaital skiing area

Beside the idyllic ski slopes, the ski centre Schlick 2000 provides a high-altitude cross-country ski track and a toboggan run.

At the entrance of the Stubaital valley, there is the hiking area Schlick 2000, providing 23 km of ski slopes in winter. In other words, a varied skiing area, which is rich in special corners. For the little ones, there is “Ronny’s Kinderland”, which is accessible for kids taking part in courses of the Stubaital ski school. This is where the mascot Ronny welcomes you with three magic carpets, a ski carousel and many more attractions. Babies are cared for in the child care centre of the Stubaital ski school at the intermediate station Froneben, ideal for parents who would like to spend some hours along on the slopes. Interesting for families: if one parent purchases a ticket, children under 10 get a free ticket.

The Schlick 2000 skiing area offers slopes of various difficulty. There is also a speed track, there are funparks such as the Stubai Park Schlick 2000 and the Free Nature Park. The funpark at the Sennjoch slope, every year is built in cooperation with the Stubai Snowboarders and their local association called UdSSR. Off the slopes, the atmosphere is much more calm. There is a snow-sure 3.5 km long cross-country round course, stretching across great winter forests. And there is also a popular area for hang-gliders, located round the Kreuzjoch mountain, which is known for its good air conditions that makes flying also possible in winter. A great panoramic view is guaranteed! By the way, the skiing area Schlick 2000 is part of the ski carousel Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck, comprising a total of 9 skiing areas.
